The TCS was developed for daily use by professionals and also for daily use at home for hair styling

The TCS heats up between 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

The temperature can be pre-adjusted precisely between 80ºC (176ºF) and 210ºC (410ºF). For damaged, coloured, fragile and fine hair, a temperature setting of 180ºC or (356ºF) is recommended. Please note that users are advised to start with a lower temperature setting if they are unsure of their own hair condition. For healthy, thick and coarse hair, it is reasonably safe to apply more heat with a higher temperature setting (210ºC or 410ºF). When first using the TCS, it is advisable to begin with a lower temperature setting and gradually increase the heat setting to find the most suitable working temperature.
